118 Mall opened on 1 November 2026 at the foot of Merdeka 118, the tallest building in Malaysia. It sits in the oldest part of Kuala Lumpur, where the streets are narrow and the traffic around Petaling Street and Stadium Merdeka can crawl, so it pays to know where you’re going before you drive in.
The short version
- RM 3 an hour, capped at RM 21 a day
- Open 24 hours, every day
- Cashless only: Visa, Mastercard or MyDebit
- Basements B1 to B5, height limit 2.1 m
- EV charging and motorcycle parking
What parking costs
Parking is RM 3 for the first hour or part of it, then RM 3 for each hour after that. The same rate applies on weekdays, weekends and public holidays, and the 6% service tax is already included. The charge stops at RM 21, so a whole day costs the same as seven hours.
| You stay | You pay |
|---|---|
| Up to 1 hour | RM 3 |
| 2 hours | RM 6 |
| 3 hours, a typical mall visit | RM 9 |
| 5 hours | RM 15 |
| 7 hours or the whole day | RM 21 |
Part of an hour counts as a full hour: leave at 2 hours 10 minutes and you pay for three. There’s no cash payment, so have a card ready when you leave.
Driving in through the Belfield Tunnel
The easiest way in is the new Belfield Tunnel. It runs from Jalan Damansara and from Jalan Syed Putra, off the Federal Highway, straight to the Merdeka 118 precinct and brings you down into Basement 4, without the slow streets of the old town.
The car park is the 118 Parking basement, levels B1 to B5, shared with the Merdeka 118 tower. It’s a big space and the levels look alike, so remember your level and the nearest pillar. The grey pillars mark the bays closest to the mall.
The height limit is 2.1 m. Most cars and SUVs fit, but tall vans and cars with a roof box may not.
Drop-off, valet and e-hailing
If someone is dropping you off, or you’re taking a Grab, use the Hang Jebat entrance on Jalan Hang Jebat. It has the valet and e-hailing drop-off right at the door. The Merdeka entrance takes you into the mall’s Ground floor, and the Menara entrance links the mall to the Merdeka 118 tower.
EV charging and motorcycles
The car park has EV charging bays and separate motorcycle parking. The mall hasn’t listed how many chargers there are or what charging costs, so check the screen at the charger before you plug in.
When the train is easier
118 Mall is one of the best-connected malls in the city. From the MRT Kajang Line, get off at Merdeka station and take the express escalator straight into the mall’s Lower Ground floor, about three minutes’ walk. The LRT Ampang Line stops at Plaza Rakyat and the KL Monorail at Maharajalela, both a short walk away.
On busy weekends, during the opening weeks, or when there’s an event at Stadium Merdeka or Stadium Negara next door, the train will often get you there sooner than the queue for the basement.
Tips for a smoother visit
- Arrive before lunch on weekends while the mall is new and crowds are big.
- Take a photo of your level and pillar, or save your spot in ParkMana with a timer.
- Staying past seven hours costs nothing extra, so a long day out is still RM 21.
- New malls sometimes adjust their rates in the first months. Check the board at the entrance.
